Promises, Promises was a great musical om Broadway. Promises, promises… A few for some, many for naught. How many are kept ?
Hundreds more forgotten. Hyperbole donald promises the world, metaphorically, insults almost everyone who didn’t vote for him or had any competence at all. “you’re fired” was just transposed from la la TV land.
America was full of promise, until djt won the electoral College… Promises, promises for 188,000 thousand dead. Kids in detention centers. Violence on the streets. When you lose, promise us you’ll leave the White House in January.
