Lovely article but my degrees in Intercultural Studies, Performing Arts and Theatre have been invaluable.
Yet, they are not valued in America. After decades of “working” off-Broadway and having had plays published, people ask me why I am not “working” ?
The value scale in America has shifted from eeking out a living in the Humanities to “making a killing” almost everywhere else.
In 2015, I completed a Certificate in Ethics that has been shredded emotionally and morally almost everyday by djt.

Ukraine is not simply a “story”.
It is an ATTACK on all of Humanity via brute malevolent anonymous cyber and munitions force. Since WWIII has begun,
WE collectively can no longer sit and watch.
If not “shock and awe”; we will be bombed next.
